Tumbling Skills

Tumbling, also known as floor gymnastics, is a dynamic athletic activity that requires no props or equipment to perform. It’s also a foundational component of competitive cheerleading. At Olympia Allstar Cheerleading, tumbling is taught through drills and techniques training from certified coaches. This activity builds whole body strength and features a wide range of gravity-defying moves, including:

  • Flips
  • Somersaults 
  • Tucks
  • Handstands
  • Handsprings 
  • Walkovers 

Olympia features three large gym areas where kids and teens of all skill levels can learn and practice their tumbling skills. With the guidance of our amazing coaches and the friendly atmosphere within our athletic facilities, our students improve their fitness, build their technical skills, and—most importantly—have fun!
